
The Tobacco Recovery Resource Exchange: Serving addiction professionals
The Tobacco Recovery Resource Exchange is characterized by dynamic, up-to-date and constantly evolving services for the addictions community. Our professional staff and regional partners are ready, willing and able to deliver the just-in-time support addictions personnel need to appropriately integrate tobacco into their existing services, as well as to help programs problem-solve, plan, and grow.
Training
Targeted instruction in specific tobacco-related issues is offered in classrooms and agency sites by skilled, region-based trainers. Our curriculum is organized around many tobacco recovery topics, including interventions, medications, treatment planning and relapse prevention.
E-Learning
Can’t make it to live training? The Exchange’s E-learning Center offers free courses comparable to classroom training in a highly interactive, easy-to-navigate environment. Appropriate for learners from administrators to clinicians and counselors, these courses provide certificates and CASAC credits, and feature the latest information about tobacco recovery.

Technical assistance
Both our DMOA staff and Regional Training and Technical Assistance Center personnel provide customized advice and solutions for tobacco-related challenges in chemical dependence programs, especially as these relate to the implementation of OASAS Regulation Part 856.
